Getting Started
Do players need to download an app?
No. Players join through a link in their browser. No account or download required.
Do organizers need an account?
Yes. Organizers log in to create and manage matches. It's still just a web app—no download needed.
How do I invite my group?
Share the match link in WhatsApp, text, or email. With Pro, you can also send SMS invites directly.
Signups & Waitlists
How does the waitlist work?
When a match fills, new players join the waitlist in order. You can see exactly who's waiting and their position.
What happens if someone drops out?
With Pro, you can notify everyone on the waitlist with one tap. First to reply gets the spot.
Can players see who else is playing?
Yes. Each match shows the current roster and waitlist.
SMS & Notifications
How do SMS invites work?
With Pro, you can send bulk invites and reminders by text. We handle delivery automatically.
Is SMS required?
No. Many groups use links only. SMS is optional.
Can players reply to SMS invites?
Yes. Players can reply Y or N to confirm or decline. They're automatically added to the roster (or waitlist if full) or marked as not playing.
Are there SMS limits?
We don't enforce strict limits, but we do monitor for fair use. If you're running a normal group, you'll be fine.
WhatsApp & Group Chats
Can I still use WhatsApp?
Yes. Most groups do. Use WhatsApp for chat. Use FindASub for signups.
Will this replace my group chat?
No. It replaces signup chaos, not conversation.
Technical
I didn't get my sign-in link. Where is it?
Check your spam or junk folder. If it's not there, try again—the link is sent instantly.
Is this an app?
FindASub works as a web app. You can install it on your phone like an app if you want. It works in any modern browser.
Why can't it access my contacts on iPhone?
Apple limits contact access for web apps. That's why we offer link sharing and manual import options.
Does it work on Android?
Yes. Android and iOS are fully supported.

Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. No contracts. No hidden fees.
Do players pay?
No. Only organizers upgrade to Pro.
Can I manage multiple groups?
Yes. You can create and manage unlimited groups.
